San Francisco police are seeking witnesses to a homicide that occurred on Wednesday,
April 14, 2004 on the 100 block of Broad Street at about 9:20 P.M. The victim was approached on foot by three suspects, all African-American adults, who fired two to three shots with a handgun at the victim. They were last seen fleeing westbound in a white vehicle, possibly a Nissan. The victim, Robert Bell, 31, of Oakland, was pronounced dead at the scene. Bell had lived in the Ocean View district previously and was known to frequent that area after moving to Oakland.
