San Francisco Police seek witnesses in assault near SF club

San Francisco Police are seeking witnesses to a brutal, possibly gang-related assault that occurred yesterday, Wednesday, March 28, just before 2:00 A.M. in front of 215 Second Street. In that incident, three male suspects first confronted two male victims in front of Club M V located at 525 Howard Street. The victims walked away and the suspects followed them half a block to Second Street, where one of the suspects hit one of the victims, knocking him to the pavement, then kicked and continued to hit him. The second and third suspects began striking the other victim.

Both victims are Hispanic males in their early 20s and reside in the East Bay. The victim who was knocked down suffered life-threatening head injuries and remains hospitalized. The other victim incurred non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect who inflicted life-threatening injuries is described as a white male, early 20s, 6', thin build, short blond hair, and wearing a white polo shirt. The second suspect is a Hispanic male, early 20s, wearing a black Giants jersey with the number 3 on the back. The third suspect is described only as a Hispanic male in his early 20s.
