A Wall of Honor ceremony honoring Officer Bryan Tuvera will be held on Friday, March 2, in the lobby of the Hall of Justice, 850 Bryant Street, at 2:00 P.M. Officer Tuvera, 28, was shot to death on December 22, 2006 when a wanted suspect opened fire on officers who were attempting to take him into custody inside a garage at 25th Avenue and Lawton Street.
The Hall of Justice Wall of Honor is engraved with the names of San Francisco Police officers who died in the line of duty, dating back to the death of Officer John J. Coots on June 12, 1878. Officer Tuvera's name will be the 99th to be engraved on the wall.
