San Francisco Police have arrested a suspect for sexual assaults that occurred on the University of San Francisco campus. Taken into custody yesterday evening at approximately 5:00 P.M. was Ryan Caskey, 21, a student at USF. He was arrested on the campus.
Caskey is the suspect in four sexual assaults that occurred over the past several months. All the victims were female USF students. One of the victims contacted the university officials, who contacted the San Francisco Police Department. The Sex Crimes Detail initiated an immediate investigation that led to the questioning of Caskey and his arrest two days later.
Caskey has been charged with four counts of rape and four counts of assault, all felonies, and remains in custody.
The San Francisco Police Department urges anyone who may have been a victim of the suspect to contact the Sex Crimes Detail, 553-1361. In addition, anyone who has been the victim of a sexual assault is urged to contact police.
