Subject: CONNIE PERRY ELECTED POLICE COMMISSION PRESIDENT
Attorney Connie Perry was voted San Francisco Police Commission president by her fellow Commission members, effective January 8. Mayor Brown appointed Ms. Perry to the five-person civilian panel, which overseas the administration of the rules and procedures of the nearly 2300-member police force, on April 15, 1997. A 1973 graduate of the Cleveland Marshall College of Law, she earlier served on the Human Services Commission. Ms. Perry begins a one-year term in a customary rotational process.
